How do I remove Mold and Mildew//Mothball Odors and Stains On Shoes & Cars & other Leather items ?

Mold and Mildew//Mothball Odors and Stains On Shoes & other Leather items.

1. Start with one pair of shoes to try. Mix a solution of 10 parts warm water with 1 part "ATX’s Odor-Kill and Stain Remover" TM (ATX ODOR KILL).

2. Spray the 10:1 solution of ATX ODOR KILL on the outside and the inside of the shoes. Dampen a jay cloth (or something similar) and wipe off the shoes both inside and out. Rinse out the jay cloth and wring it out so that it is damp. Repeat this process taking care to especially treat the inside of the shoes.

3. Re-spray the 10:1 solution on the outside and inside of the shoes. Do not wipe off. Let them set and dry, but not near heat (a radiator, for example). The moldy smell will probably be very apparent at this time. The enzyme/microbes are on the attack and working. Wet leather also has a smell of its own.

 4. After the shoes are dry, smell them. They should smell much, much better and hopefully no more treatment will be needed, if so, just repeat steps 2,3,4. Then just polish them to replenish the oils in the leather.

How do I remove Rodent Urine and Feces Damage?

I very seldom write a letter like this.

I'm writing to tell you about the excellent success we have had with your product, ATX’s Odorkill & Stain Remover.

It saved the interior of a $120,000 Special Order, 1989 Porsche Sportster, it saved our customer at least $11,200, since he did not have to replace the compete interior.

One of our very good customers had stored his car in a garage for over 2 years. When he removed it, he found that it had been infested with rodents. They had defecated on every square inch of the interior, the carpet, dash and upholstery, and on the inside panel. The smell of urine and feces even permeated the fabric of the convertible roof. Our clean up shop, cleaned, shampooed and treated the interior with "agent orange" (a citrus cleaner).

We had done this 3 times, but the stench was still the same and just as strong. Now, it had the smell of orange rodent urine. It made everyone who came in contact with it nauseous.

We also tried baking soda, perfumes, and everything else in our shop, but to no avail. We then advised our customer that he must replace the entire interior at an estimated cost of $11,200.

When you came along and suggested that we try ATX’s ODOR KILL & STAIN REMOVER we were dubious.

You personally treated the interior one time by spraying and saturating the carpet, the doors, the leather upholstery, the dash panel and the convertible top.

After this one treatment, the horrible mix of stenches was completely eliminated. There was absolutely no residual odor.

My customer was elated at this simple, effective bio-technological low cost solution! I am pleased to be able to recommend ATX’s ODOR KILL & STAIN REMOVER on all of our vehicles. Thank you for introducing us to this superior product. Dean Pavia

How do I remove Cat urine and Feces in the backyard?

Cat urine and Feces in the backyard

Odor Kill will definitely remove the cat urine and feces odors. However, It is best used on a site-specific area, such as a rug, furniture, clothing, and car.

Unless, you have the sites identified, you will have to treat the whole yard with odor kill. It will have limited effect since it will evaporate and you'll have to treat again.

Odor kill super accelerates Mother Nature's decomposition process. So, the soil in the back yard it will eventually break down the organic feces and urine.

Have you tried spreading pulverized limestone? This has a pH of 10.0 and it will neutralize the acid urine and feces. The next step is the use of "Quick lime," "Hot lime" this has a pH of 12.0+, It is fast acting but could damage your grass.

Go to you local lawn and garden dealer and talk to them about which one to use for your area.

As for repelling cats, there is a product out on the market that repels deer. Perhaps it can be used to repel cats. Check into it.

How do I remove Mildew stains on Auto Cloth Vinyl Top?

Mildew stains on Auto Cloth Vinyl Top

We have had excellent success with mold and mildew removal. It is hard to say exactly what will happen with your car top.

I definitely think it is worth a try. I'd just start with our 8-oz bottle and try it in a hidden spot. Mix it 5 parts water and 1 part odor kill. Spray it on and use a scrub brush to gently clean the fabric.

Let it sit on the fabric and slowly dry. Maybe also put an old clean towel that has been soaked with OK over the spot and let it continue to work. Odor kill works best in a 70-100 degree environment.

It is water based with a neutral pH of 7.0. It uses enzymes to digest the mold and mildew. We offer a money back guarantee, see below. Please let me know your results.

How do I remove Milk Spills on auto carpet and upholstery?

Milk Spills on auto carpet and upholstery

What has occurred is that the milk has gotten into the open cell urethane foam and is fermenting and out gassing.

You must get enough Odor kill solution into the foam so that it can digest the residual milk molecules. 1st get as much of the spilled milk up as possible using a wet towel and diluting the area with water. Blot it up, you must try to get as much up as possible.

Then treat the area with a solution of ATX’s. Mix it 5 parts water and 1 part odor kill in a clean spray bottle. Generously spray and / or pour the solution on the upholstery and carpet so that it gets into it completely -- top, under / bottom.

The enzyme solution is working when it has moisture. It stops working when it dries. So put a damp towel soaked in the odor kill solution over the area for 3-4 hours. Take it up and check for odor. Reapply if necessary.

Then let the area completely dry. You may have to use a fan to remove any moisture. If, it does not completely dry it will mildew will grow in the damp areas. (A new treatment of the solution of Odor Kill will also kill the mold and mildew).

When you have finished and all the odor has gone. Be sure to get the carpet dry, if not you'll have mildew smells in the carpet. If possible, pull the carpet up and treat under it and let it dry. You may need a fan to blow on the area to keep the air circulating and speed the drying.

How do you remove smoke odors in a auto?

Cigarette smoke in an auto.

The key is that the mixed solution must come in contact with the smoke in order for it to digest the smoke molecules. If there is residual smoke that could not be reached by Odor Kill, it will not be digested and removed.

So, it will be important to get the solution as deep as possible into the carpet, upholstery, a/c ducts, all surface areas, etc. Mix it 10 parts water and 1 part odor kill in a clean spray bottle.

Generously spray the entire areas. Then rub it in with your hands where possible, and let dry slowly. The enzyme solution is working when it has moisture. It stops working when it dries. Don't forget IT IS NECESSARY to run the car's air conditioner on recycle, i.e., on MAX so that OK can eliminate the odors inside the unit, as well as the air movement also helps to disseminate OK throughout the interior of the car, itself.

After drying, check for smoke odors and smell. Re-apply if necessary.

We also have directions on our site, which you can refer to. Yes, we offer a money back guarantee for all situations and applications. See the guarantee below.

How do I remove Spilled Milk on Auto Carpet?

Spilled Milk on Auto Carpet:

Thanks for your email. Yes, Odor Kill will do the job -- it will take a little work.

We have had numerous applications of odor kill on the spilled milk problem and we have had excellent success removing it. ATX’s Odor Kill & Stain Remover works on the PacMan Concept

The key is to get the Odor Kill solution in direct contact with the organic odor & stain molecules. The Odor kill solution of multiple enzyme systems and molecules functions just like little "pacmen," which very aggressively attack and digest the organic matter molecules.

The Odor Kill enzyme/molecules must come in contact with the organic matter molecules in order to digest them. They work in the presence of food (organic matter), oxygen and water.

When the area dries, the enzymes cease functioning and cannot be regenerated with water. Just follow the directions that are included with each shipment. We also include detailed directions on our web site, see below. For your spilled milk situation we recommend:

Just mix it 10 parts warm water and 1 part Odor kill. Spray the soiled area. Make sure the solution penetrates to the carpet pad. If at all possible spray under the pad. This is key, since the milk is embedded in the carpet pad which contains moisture and the milk is fermenting/souring and out-gassing at that location.

Pull the carpet up -- perhaps you'll need to see a body shop company to help pull it up. Then place a warm damp towel that has been mixed and soaked in the Odor Kill solution over and under the carpet's treated area and leave it for 4-6 hours.

This keeps the enzymes/microbes/molecules working and digesting the milk. Remove it and inspect the area by sight and smell. This will take multiple treatments 4-6 times over 2-4 days.

It will do the job, if you can get to all the residual milk. Please let me know you progress.

Call me or give me your phone # and I'll call you to discuss it further. I would suggest that you need to start with 1 quart of odor Kill.

How do you remove smoke odors in a camper?

Smoke Odors in a Camper

 1. It is an excellent odor remover. If the Odor Kill solution is able to get to the smoke / organic molecules it will digest them and remove them from the base materials-carpets, wall, upholstery, etc. It is not a masking agent,

2. Mix the concentrate in a clean spray bottle or garden sprayer -- it must be clean, suggest that you go to the local hardware store and secure one of each. Heavily mist all surfaces. You want the solution to reach all smoke molecules.

If the Odor kill enzymes don't come in contact with the smoke molecules they cannot digest them.

3. Start with a 15 to 1 mixture that should do it. Always mix it with water, it acts as a catalyst and activates the enzymes so that they "go on the attack".

Visit our web site for directions on smoke odors. We have some drawings about how to apply.
